Full or Part Time Warehouse & Admin Assistant £12-16k (pro rata if part time)

Our office, warehouse and trade shop are based between Mansfield and Newark on Boughton Industrial Estate, Near Ollerton.
Established in 2006, Hall-Fast are a Multi-award winning company that services customers throughout the UK and in overseas markets with over 45 million stocked items, representing 48,000 standard product lines. Our range includes access and handling equipment, specialist fasteners, workwear, ppe, tools and abrasives.
We are currently looking to recruit a full or part time warehouse and admin assistant , based within our warehouse to complement our small office based team.
Daily duties would include accurate record keeping in accordance with our ISO 9001:2008 quality procedures, the booking in and booking out of stock, allocating stock to orders, maintaining a tidy warehouse, assisting in serving customers in our trade shop, handling related administration including despatch and goods in paperwork, updating order spreadsheets, and updating sage including invoicing.
The role will also include liaison with suppliers, customers and carriers to ensure orders are despatched in a timely fashion.
This is a busy role and requires the ability to multi task and work to deadlines, a high level of computer literacy and numeracy, good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and previous experience in a similar role with the ability to work unsupervised.
Experience of Sage, Excel and Outlook would be a distinct advantage, as would previous experience of working to ISO 9001: 2008 quality standards.
Full time working hours are 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday, Part time hours to be arranged between 8.30-5 Monday to Friday

Our range includes access and handling equipment, specialist fasteners, workwear, PPE, tools and abrasives. Our products are sold online, via the telephone and through our local trade shop .
Due to expansion we require an experienced and driven sales person to join our small team.
As we have a extensive product range, with many technically based products, working as a small team this role involves the ability to adapt to a wide range of duties and responsibilities and deal with a wide range of customers from sole traders and members of the public to blue chip FTSE 100 organisations on a daily basis.
On a daily basis the role will involve general sales and customer service activities, managing key accounts, processing customer orders, handling incoming customer enquiries many of which are technical in nature, cross selling and upselling products, following up samples, issuing and following up quotations, ensuring our products are sold effectively and profitably, working in a targeted sales role, generating new leads and orders, handling all related administration and maintaining accurate information on our systems and databases. Following orders through to completion including liaison with suppliers, customers and carriers.
Key skills required are:
- The ability to work in a small team in a role which requires constant multi tasking and the ability to take on any task from handling a major account , serving customer on our trade counter to packing a box when needed!
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a track record of working to sales targets, ideally in a technical / industrial business to business sales environment
- Sales experience with an understanding of the sales process
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to develop relationships with key accounts
- A high level of literacy and numeracy with strong admin and organisational skills is also essential. Experience of Sage, Word, Excel, Outlook is a distinct advantage.
Working hours full time 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday.
